Mebsa invests a million euros in the robotization of its plant

At MEBSA, we are proud to share our recent progress in the robotization of our plant. This one-million-euro investment reflects our commitment to innovation and excellence in the manufacturing of high-precision pieces. With this project, we anticipate a 25% increase in our revenue since the commencement of robotization in 2021.

We have acquired a new 650m2 facility adjacent to our existing 750m2 plant. Furthermore, we have invested in new machinery that will enable us to automate our production and meet the demand we receive as suppliers of Formula E racing vehicles. Specifically, we have incorporated a 5-axis machining center with a robot and an electronic warehouse, allowing us to increase the plant’s capacity by 50%.

To achieve this, we have received support and assistance of nearly 70,000 euros from ACCIÓ, the agency for business competitiveness of the Department of Enterprise and Labor, through its high-impact business investment program.

We closed 2021 with a turnover of 2.1 million euros, a 20% increase compared to the previous year, and we anticipate an additional 8% growth in 2023 with the new projects we are working on. We will continue to strive to maintain our commitment to quality, always seeking to exceed our customers’ expectations and make a difference in the precision engineering sector.
